The Blood Harvest
The marvelous thing about horseshoe crab blood, though, isn't the color. It's a chemical found only in the amoebocytes of its blood cells that can detect mere traces of bacterial presence and trap them in inescapable clots.
To take advantage of this biological idiosyncrasy, pharmaceutical companies burst the cells that contain the chemical, called coagulogen. Then, they can use the coagulogen to detect contamination in any solution that might come into contact with blood. If there are dangerous bacterial endotoxins in the liquid—even at a concentration of one part per trillion—the horseshoe crab blood extract will go to work, turning the solution into what scientist Fred Bang, who co-discovered the substance, called a "gel."

Hotel Restaurant Caught Selling BURGERS Made of HUMAN FLESH
Police discovered severed human heads after searching the hotel serving the grizzly meat burgers

NIGERIA (INTELLIHUB) — Last week a hotel in Nigeria was raided after local residents reported that the restaurant inside was selling human meat in their burgers. Police found severed human heads that were stored at the restaurant, and arrested 11 people in connection to the investigation.
“Each time I came to market, because the hotel is very close to the market, I always noticed funny movements in and out of the hotel; dirty people with dirty characters always come into the hotel. So, I was not surprised when the police made this discovery in the early hours of yesterday,” a vegetable seller in the area said.
A Pastor who was among the people who tipped off the police on Thursday said: “I went to the hotel early this year, after eating, I was told that a lump of meat was being sold at N700 (4$), I was surprised. So I did not know it was human meat that I ate at such expensive price.”
While incidents of cannibalism have been discovered in Nigeria in rare cases, the general population is horrified by this practice
Back in September, a report emerged claiming that two men were cannibals and human flesh consumers. The two supposed cannibals were nearly lit on fire by an angry mob before they were ultimately handed over to police.
